Chris Mora US Congressional candidate in Georgia for the 11th district.

Jasper, GA – December 22, 2025 – Chris Mora, a proud conservative, father, grandfather, believer, and lifelong Georgian, announced his candidacy for the U.S. House of Representatives in Georgia’s 11th Congressional District. Alongside this announcement, Mora is proud to launch his new official campaign website, MoraForGeorgia.com, where voters can learn more about his vision, platform, how to get involved and donation support.

“I’m not a career politician. I’m a father, a grandfather, a believer, and a proud Georgian. I’ve worked hard and watched as the people in Washington stopped listening to us,” said Mora. “My campaign is simple: I’ll go to Washington, serve with integrity, fight for our values, and then come home because the only thing we should make a career out of is serving God and our communities.”

Georgia’s 11th Congressional District encompasses all of Bartow, Gordon, and Pickens counties, as well as portions of Cherokee and Cobb counties. Mora’s vision is to make the district “one of the finest places to live in all of Georgia” by focusing on Georgia First economic opportunities, reducing burdensome regulations, empowering workers, and ending wasteful federal spending.

Key pillars of Mora’s platform include:

  • Affordability, Economy & Energy: Restoring America’s energy independence, cutting reckless spending, and creating jobs that benefit Georgians.

  • Healthcare: Replacing the failing Affordable Care Act with patient-centered, market-driven reforms that lower premiums, expand choice, and put decisions back in the hands of doctors and families.

  • Border Security: Enforcing strong measures to stop illegal immigration, drug trafficking, and threats to community safety.

  • Fighting Federal Overreach: Returning power to local communities and ensuring Washington serves the people.

What issues matters the most to you in the 11th District?

  • 0%Economic Opportunity

  • 0%Healthcare & Insurance premiums

  • 0%Government Overreach

  • 0%Farming & Food Security

You can vote for more than one answer.

“I’m not a career politician. I’m a father, a grandfather, a believer, and a proud Georgian. I’ve worked hard and watched as the people in Washington stopped listening to us."

For too long, Washington has been dominated by career insiders who prioritize their next election over your next paycheck. They’ve grown comfortable in power, forgetting who they truly serve the hardworking families of Bartow, Gordon, Pickens, Cherokee, and Cobb counties.

Just having an “R” next to a name isn’t enough anymore. We need bold, principled conservative leadership that fights relentlessly for America First policies: securing our borders, restoring energy independence, cutting reckless spending, and ending federal overreach that burdens our communities.

That’s why your vote in the Republican Primary is crucial. The Primary on May 19, 2026, is where real change begins. If we want a fresh voice who will serve with integrity, put Georgia families first, and then come home without making politics a lifelong career; we must turn out and choose a new direction.

Voters in the Republican Primary can cast their ballots on Election Day, Tuesday, May 19, 2026. Early voting dates will be announced by county election offices closer to the election.
