Championing the Issues That Matter to Georgia's 11th District

A Clear Vision for Secure Communities, Strong Families, and a Prosperous Georgia

The challenges facing Georgia families today are real, and the solutions must be rooted in common sense, accountability, and putting our citizens first. Whether it’s securing our borders, lowering healthcare costs, defending our freedoms, or strengthening the economy, Chris Mora is committed to tackling the issues head-on. His approach is straightforward: listen to the people, protect their interests, and fight for policies that make life better for every Georgian. This campaign is about restoring trust, securing opportunity, and defending the values that built our communities.

FIFTEEN CORE ISSUES SHAPING OUR PATH FORWARD

Common Sense Solutions For A Stronger Georgia

Chris Mora deeply understands the struggles of Georgia's working families, from affordability and election integrity to national security and veterans' support. His positions embody a compassionate, people-first conservatism that champions local control, empowers communities over Washington, and secures our future—here's a clear outline of the policies he'll fight for from day one.

1. Energy Independence & Economic Opportunity

Let's Create Georgia First Jobs

Let's stop the wasteful spending that drives inflation and empower American workers. I will fight to achieve true energy independence and reduce the regulatory burden on small businesses right here in Georgia.

Securing American, and Georgia, For Safer Communities

2. Secure Our Borders, Protect Our Nation

Securing America, and Georgia, For Safer Communities

A nation without borders is not a nation. We must fully secure our borders, stop illegal immigration, and end the flow of drugs that endanger our communities.

3. Patient-Centered Healthcare: Lower Costs & Replace the ACA

Washington has failed us with the Affordable Care Act (ObamaCare), leading to confusing plans and skyrocketing insurance premiums for Georgia families. We need Healthcare without government interference. I believe in replacing the ACA with a new, market-driven solution that puts patients and doctors back in charge, not bureaucrats. We must champion reforms that drive competition, allow the purchase of cheaper, better-fitting plans across state lines, and promote tools like Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) to provide better solutions and get those crippling rates down. The ACA is neither affordable nor does it care about anyone.

Federal Overreach

4. Stop D.C. Overreach, Slash Spending; Restore The American Dream

It is essential to halt federal government expansion and return power and decision-making back to the states and local communities where Georgia First priorities can lead. The time for business-as-usual in Washington is over. We must slash government spending and crush excess taxes and regulations; restore the American Dream for our kids and grandkids. My commitment is simple: End federal overreach, return power to the states.

5. Fiercely Uphold the Second Amendment

As a staunch advocate for the Second Amendment, I am unwavering in my commitment to fiercely uphold the Constitutional rights of my constituents and all Americans. The Second Amendment shall not be infringed. Furthermore, I fully support the efforts—like those led by Congressman Andrew Clyde; to remove Short-Barreled Rifles (SBRs) and Suppressors from the control of the National Firearms Act (NFA). The NFA has always functioned as an unnecessary tax burden, and it is time for Congress to restore these items fully to the constitutional freedom of law-abiding citizens, and remove them from the NFA.

We applaud President Trump's Department of Justice (DOJ) who has created a new "Second Amendment Rights Section" within its Civil Rights Division. The office was officially opened yesterday, December 4, 2025. This new section is intended to examine various local and state policies, including those related to concealed-carry permits, and to work to ensure consistency across firearm-related cases. While a reorganization of the Justice Department doesn’t require approval from Congress, the Office of Management and Budget did not object to the communication to Congress about the reorganization. The DOJ has already informed Congress that the reorganization will be done using existing funds and personnel, without requiring additional funding.

Make Farming Great Again

6. Defend Our Farmers, Food Security, and Private Property

Our farmers are the bedrock of Georgia's economy and the providers of our food security; they deserve our protection, not persecution. We must stop unnecessary land grabs and end the extreme overreach from bureaucratic agencies. Recently, we've seen government agencies, here in Georgia and in states like California, interfere by increasing burdensome red tape and environmental policies that negatively affect our farmers and the food they produce, even attempting to seize their land and restrict where they may graze animals or grow food. I will be an advocate for private property rights, fighting to slash regulatory burdens and ensure our local producers can thrive without Washington interference.

7. Secure & Trusted Elections to Safeguard Every Vote

Free, fair, and honest elections are fundamental to our Republic. The November 4, 2020, election exposed many irregularities, including states failing to follow established election standards, last-minute law changes, and severe issues with mass mail-in ballots. We must restore public trust. Following the objectives outlined in President Trump's Executive Order (14248), my policy is clear: Elections must be honest and worthy of public trust, and we must enforce Federal laws requiring votes be received by Election Day. To achieve this, I will vote in favor of removing all electronic voting machines and transitioning to a national standard of hand-marked, secure paper ballots that are hand-counted at the precinct level—the only method that ensures true voter-verifiable integrity.

Taxation

8. Cut Taxes for Workers, Families, & American Producers

We must cut taxes on American workers, cut taxes on American companies that manufacture here, and use the power of the federal tax code to stop foreign cheaters. I will fight to make the Trump Tax Cuts permanent, cut taxes on tips, eliminate the death tax on family farms, and look at going to a flat tax.

9. Honor Our Veterans with Real Care, Real Support, & Real Accountability

Resources and funding must be directed to U.S. citizens and those who defended the nation before being allocated to foreign aid, international conflicts, or non-citizens within the U.S. The government must provide robust support for the "invisible wounds" of war (PTSD, TBI, etc.) and address the crisis of veteran suicide and homelessness. I would support and expand programs (like the MISSION Act) that allow veterans greater access to private, local healthcare providers when VA facilities have long wait times, are too far away, or offer insufficient services. The focus is on putting the veteran-patient first. We also need to streamline the complex disability claims and appeals process, utilizing technology and updated legal guidelines to drastically reduce the claims backlog and ensure veterans receive their earned compensation promptly.

Mortgage Rates

10. Restore Stability & Expand Homeownership for American Families

We need to reduce the government's direct ownership and guarantee of mortgage risk. We need to ensure strict, responsible underwriting standards to prevent economic instability and prioritize access to homeownership for American citizens through a robust, but prudently regulated, private lending market.

11. Peace Through Strength: Rebuild America’s Military Advantage

The US Constitution establishes national defense as the paramount and mandatory function of the federal government. I would advocate for robust increases in the defense budget to modernize air, sea, and land forces, ensuring readiness for "great power competition" against adversaries like China and Russia. Resisting attempts to cut defense spending to fund domestic programs, arguing that the nation's security is the non-negotiable priority expenditure. I would also ensure that military families and service members receive the necessary resources, including pay raises and improved housing, as a matter of retention and respect for their service. I believe that security begins at home. The military and federal agencies must play a primary role in securing the nation's borders, treating mass illegal entry and drug cartel operations as national security threats, and forms of invasion.

Small Business

12. Unleash Small Business Growth & End Washington’s Red Tape

We must remove the obstacles that prevent small business from growing and succeeding. Aggressively reduce the tax burden, primarily by securing the 20% Pass-Through Deduction for sole proprietorships, partnerships, and S-Corps, as this is how most small businesses pay taxes. Implement a policy of aggressive regulatory reform and repeal, arguing that bureaucratic red tape disproportionately crushes small entities that cannot afford large legal compliance teams. Utilize trade enforcement and tariffs to shield small domestic producers and manufacturers from unfair practices (like foreign state subsidies or intellectual property theft) that favor foreign competitors. We also need to Push for tort reform and other legal measures to reduce frivolous lawsuits and insurance costs that divert capital away from small business investment and job creation.

13. Putting American Workers First: Bring Jobs Home & Strengthen Our Workforce

The American Worker as the indispensable backbone of the nation's strength and prosperity, and the primary beneficiary whom all economic and trade policies must serve. I would advocate for making lower individual income tax rates permanent to ensure workers keep more of their earnings. We need to bring jobs back home. We need to incentivize companies to reshore production and rebuild the American manufacturing base, ensuring the nation's supply chains for critical goods are secure and fully domestic.

Protecting Suburban Character & Local Control

14. Defend Our Suburbs: Protect Local Zoning & Georgia’s Way of Life

Federal and state policies promoting high-density housing are seen as a threat to the single-family-home character of suburban communities in GA-11. We need to strongly oppose any federal efforts to tie infrastructure or grant funding to the elimination of local single-family zoning laws, framing it as a "suburban lifestyle" and local control issue.

15. Protect Homeowners with Real Property Tax Relief

As home values in counties like Cobb and Cherokee skyrocket, families and seniors on fixed incomes are being "taxed out" of their homes by rising property taxes, often funding bloated school budgets. I would use the federal platform to advocate for local and state policies that cap property tax assessment increases, and offer federal tax incentives for states that provide robust homestead exemptions for seniors.
